Why choose me?

My passion is photographing families and newborns. It makes me so happy to watch you be with the people that mean the most to you. I have an Early Childhood Education degree and taught kindergarten, so I bring that experience with me as I interact with your little ones. Let me take over so you can be fully present with your family and I will capture those sweet connections you have with them. Let me get those details that you don't want to forget, but often do as time goes by. Relax a bit and let your kids just be kids. It is okay if they don't look at the camera or want to collect all the rocks or want to show off a new trick. I want to leave you with pictures that tell YOUR family's story.

What to Expect

My prices are all inclusive. This means you will have a pre-session consultation (usually through email), have the photo session, then receive color and black and white digital images, for you to download, so you can print your own pictures. There are no extra packages to purchase or hidden costs! I will get the pictures to you within two weeks of the session date. I can also provide recommendations where to get high quality pictures printed.

This session includes approximately 60 minutes of picture taking at an outdoor location or in your home. Up to 6 people ($25 per extra person).

You will be given at least 75 images.

This session includes 1 to 2 hours in your home and up to 6 people ($25 per extra person).

You will be given at least 75 images.

Add on a Mini Maternity Session for only $350 more

Only available when booked with a newborn session. If booked alone it is considered a full family session.

A mini maternity session includes the expecting mother, family and significant other. Session lasts 30 minutes.

You will be given at least 40 images.

Are you looking for quick session for your 6-month-old who is finally sitting up? Or for your senior getting ready to graduate? This is a great option for any milestone that you want to celebrate. This session includes 20-30 minutes of picture taking at an outdoor location or in your home. This is meant for one child/person and not for families.

You will be given at least 25 images.

*** In order to secure your session date, a signed session agreement and a $100 non-refundable retainer is due at booking. The remaining balance is due the day of the session.

Reschedules are permitted at a 24 hour notice or if the weather requires a change of date (at the photographer's discretion only). Cancellations or rescheduling less than 24 hours will forfeit the retainer.

For locations that are more than 25 miles outside of the 95747 zip code, a 75 cent per mile travel surcharge will be added. Bay area travel will be an extra $250.

FAQs

Neutrals, muted colors, blues, and creams are great. You should feel comfortable in whatever you choose to wear. I suggest choosing an initial outfit with multiple colors on it and using those colors for the rest of the outfits, or choosing 2-3 colors that compliment each other(like blues, creams, and black OR blues, light pink, and tan) and balance everyone out with those colors. You can dress in variations of those colors, in darker or lighter shades.
The key is to coordinate, not match. I am happy to help with specifics!
I recommend avoiding intense patterns, neon, bright, or bold colors, and/or clothing with logos/distracting graphics on them.
Most women feel best between 28 and 34 weeks, which is when you are showing, but still feeling great.
You can do this any time in your pregnancy-the sooner the better, so I can make sure I have availability. Once you have reserved your session, let me know when baby is born and we can figure out an exact date that will work. Ideally this happens in the first two weeks after birth, but could happen up to the first two months.
I do not. I specialize in lifestyle in-home sessions, where I focus on family connections in your natural, home environment.
Mini sessions take place in the fall over 2-3 dates and sometimes in the spring. Those on my newsletter get first dibs, so be sure to click here to sign up to get all the details first!
