I love photographing extended families. I love seeing the different generations interact and love on each other. I love hearing stories that grandparents tell and pass on to their grandchildren. I love the appreciation the parents have for their own parents. This sweet family was together for a short time and wanted to make sure pictures were taken and made it a priority. I was thrilled to have the honor and I think that during this pandemic, family time is even more special. We found such a beautiful location in William Land Park in Sacramento and it felt so secluded from all the hustle and bustle going on. We survived the heat and humidity and I don’t even think you can tell in these photos (I was probably the only one sweating with my mask!). I am grateful to spend evenings learning about amazing people and watching them make new memories with each other.
