I have photographed this wonderful family multiple times over the years and love them more and more each time, but this time was extra special. This time felt like a miracle….because it was one. Just a couple of months before, the mother in this darling family was so incredibly close to losing her life and it was because of her husband, a neighbor, and some fire fighters who saved her life with some quick thinking action. It was a miracle that she was still here with her family-with her babies and with her husband and that made this time photographing them so so very special and dear. I was a little emotional before, during, and after our session just thinking about their situation and all that they recently went through and how grateful I was that it wasn’t anything worse. I could feel how much more they held each other close and how they appreciate each day as a gift. The love they gave to each other was free and good and so sweet to witness. Truly, the only guaranteed time we have with each other is now. Love on your family. Be quick to forgive and move forward. Make memories and document them.
