"There is no doubt that it is around the family and the home that all the greatest virtues, the most dominating virtues of humans, are created, strengthened and maintained. "
This is one of those families that I know, but I don't see them too often, so each time I do, it hits me hard just how much they have grown and how quickly time is passing. Their youngest is just a few months older than my oldest, and has such a fun personality. The older two are maturing and growing up to be such great young men. It is amazing to see changes like this, especially when I don't see them every single day--the change sticks out more and is so much more noticeable to me.
We had to reschedule their session a few times and the rain threatened to move us to some indoor location, but by some small miracle, it was dry and beautiful when the time came. It was such a relief. Mom had a headache leading up to it, but I would have never known if she hadn't have told me. They all looked beautiful and I loved watching the boys interact. They may not have chosen to get family pictures done if it were up to them, but it was apparent that they love their mama and were willing to do them for her. I imagine they will be grateful for them in years to come!...that is just one of the beauty of photographs: their value and meaning only increases as time goes on. How many things can you say that about? Not too many. So, get your pictures taken, even if you don't feel like it or may not love the way you look right now. Your family needs to be documented. You won't get this time back.
